Winter is Coming
Yes, we know. It hardly seems like we’ve even had a summer this year and yet the winter months will soon be knocking on the front door of weather charts across the northern hemisphere and with that, there will be countless cyclists preparing their “best bike” or “summer bike” to the garage or store room for a sabbatical during the winter months. Perhaps even with a tear or two in ones eyes, as the thought of riding under a blanket of blue skies and wrapped in warmth from a summer sunshine is now well and truly behind us (if it even arrived in the first place) and now, the prospect of a good few months of colder weather before any hint of that warmth returns.
But hey, every cloud has a silver lining, so they say. As you once again look to dust off your winter bike, maybe it’s time to treat yourself to a new winter stead? Something a little more up-to-date perhaps, or a bike that can accommodate wider tyres. Maybe this will be your first winter bike with hydraulic disc brakes and thus making your winter riding even more safe. Reasons to be positive. Reasons to be cheerful….
