SR2 “Echappée” is for those that just want to enjoy cycling. Whether this be for a local Sunday club ride, a group or social ride for coffee and cake, a solo ride on you own to clear your mind, or indeed a faster paced ride with a group of cycling pals.

By way of 3D mandrel technology during the frame construction, this makes the inner walls of carbon frames much smoother as this eliminate wrinkles during the carbon layup process. Therefore, this benefits the box-section profile as this makes for a much stronger and lighter frameset. With a rider position and carbon layup that provides comfort-enhancing qualities, this enables you to ride further for longer with reduced rider fatigue. SR2 will happily amble along and yet when asked to lay out some serious performance, the bike will come alive and enable you to tackle whatever terrain may lay ahead.

With traditional, semi-internal cable routing, SR2 is easier and more cost effective when it comes to certain servicing requirements, meaning you can spend more time on the road, and less expense when those all-important jobs need to be completed.

Evey single Redchilli SR2 is hand built here in Great Britain.
Manufactured using a blend of Toray T700/T800 carbon to provide the perfect balance for strength and lightness.
The use of 3D mandrel technology is the best solution to optimize strength and stiffness whilst also keeping the frame as light as possible.
This new 3D mandrel technology makes the inner wall of carbon frames much smoother and this helps to eliminate wrinkles within the carbon layup. The result: a stronger and lighter frameset.
One-piece moulding reduces the bonding processes of each section and this significantly improves the stability, strength, and stiffness of the front and rear triangle.
Semi-internal cable routing makes for ease of future servicing, thus keeping costs to a minimum.
Box section tubing greatly improves torsional stiffness and improves climbing.
Rigorous testing ensures our frames meet and surpass ISO 4012 standards.

SR2 is available with either a one-piece, fully integrated carbon handlebar, or we can build with a separate handlebar and stem, giving you added flexibility for bar rotation and lever positioning.
