Redchilli SR1 “Flamme Rouge”

SR1 “Flamme Rouge” is our top level, endurance road bike. Not only does this bike offer high levels of performance, but it’s also versatile. Whether you are looking for a short, fast paced ride, or an epic all day adventure, SR1 offers a fast yet comfortable riding position. Added to this, SR1 wouldn’t look out of position for the occasional race or 2 should you want to pit your witts in a race and experience the excitement that only a full race provides.

For the keen endurance rider, SR1 offers a near race bike experience, but with a rider position and carbon layup that provides comfort-enhancing qualities, allowing you to ride further for longer with reduced rider fatigue. The semi-aero profile makes for a dynamic ride on flat roads and yet when the terrain becomes a little more challenging, this bike makes light work of hills and mountains alike thanks to the specially profiled down tube, bottom bracket and rear triangle.

  • Evey single Redchilli SR1 is hand built here in Great Britain.
  • Manufactured using a blend of Toray T700/T800 carbon to provide the perfect balance for strength and lightness.
  • The use of 3D mandrel technology is the best solution to optimize strength and stiffness whilst also keeping the frame as light as possible.
  • This new 3D mandrel technology makes the inner wall of carbon frames much smoother and this helps to eliminate wrinkles within the carbon layup. The result: a stronger and lighter frameset.
  • One-piece moulding reduces the bonding processes of each section and this significantly improves the stability, strength, and stiffness of the front and rear triangle.
  • Semi-Aero down tube which provides a noticeable advantage on the flats, but also improves climbing ability.
  • Full internal cable routing for a clean look and improved aerodynamic efficiency.
  • Box section rear triangle greatly improves torsional stiffness and improves climbing.
  • Rigorous testing ensures our frames meet and surpass ISO 4012 standards.
  • Max tyre 700*32 giving you greater options, as let’s be honest, we don’t always get to ride on perfect asphalt.

 

  • SR1 is available with either a one-piece, fully integrated carbon handlebar, or we can build with a separate handlebar and stem, giving you added flexibility for bar rotation and lever positioning.
  • Your SR1 will be built specifically for you following a detailed custom build discussion. Choose from Shimano, SRAM or Campagnolo Groupsets.
  • Select from our exciting range of standard colours, or *design your own.
  • If you are able to come and visit us, we can also offer you a full bike fitting and saddle fitting service. If you are not able to visit, then we will have a detailed discussion with you and this will enable us to build your bike just the way you want.
