FTP Racing (Bristol, UK)
“Start small – dream big” has really been the mantra for FTP Racing and since the birth of the team, they have gathered momentum and strength.
Once considered a TT (Time Trial) team, FTP Racing are now building a strong foundation for road race and regularly compete in National Series and Elite Level events. With an ongoing ambition to be bigger, better and in finding the best riders to help support this drive, FTP pride themselves on their ethos of “rider first.” This philosophy certainly helps to install a strong, team chemistry whereby all riders race as a team and support team performance with every pedal rev.

bec whitfield

bec whitfiled
Bec started her cycling journey in 2020, during lockdown. At the time, she didn’t have any experience of riding a bike with gears – so was completely new to the sport. Starting with Zwift and building an online community with regular group rides, she then moved to the outdoors and found herself looking for a club that had three things: a community, an online presence, and women led rides.
At the time, nothing ticked all three boxes – so she joined forces with Dan Stephenson (founder of Outlands Project and another Redchilli brand ambassador) and created Outlands Femmes. Since then, then has gone from strength to strength with Bec at the helm. Thanks to Bec’s boundless energy, enthusiasm, encouragement and sheer determination, Outlands Femme now has a diverse group of “kick-ass” women onboard. Outlands Femmes love to paint the town in their club colours – pink and blue… so Bec HAD to have this wicked paint scheme for her brand new Redchilli GR1 “Hors Route Gravel bike.
Bec has a big year ahead with several events planned, whereby she will rock up with her Pink/Blue GR1.
