It’s no surprise that FR1 has been our most popular Chilli.
Redchilli FR1 really is the ultimate race machine. Whether you are faced with rolling roads or flat roads, FR1 whips along at pace, and when things ger a little more twisty, this bike reacts with confidence and provides a mighty turn of acceleration when pulling out of corners. Added to this, FR1 can also climb with agile competence and maintains confidence inspiring stability.
Since it’s first inception way back in 2014, FR1 has always been the quintessential race machine. Now in it’s 4th variant, FR1 continues to set the trend with its stunning, full-aero profile and full internal cable routing.
And what’s more, FR1 is UCI Approved so no matter where you race, you can be confident that this bike meets all UCI requirements. What a relief that is..!!
Fast, confident and super stable. Every aspect of the frameset has been optimised in order to maximise performance. Starting right at the front end with the drag minimising, aero head tube; not only does this ensure the “entrance” to aerodynamic performance, but this also increases torsional stiffness and has been specifically designed to be compatible with full internal cable routing.
Moving over the frame, the aerodynamically optimised tube profiles ensure a smooth transition from the head tube, onwards to the top tube and down tube, and further along to the bottom bracket and chainstays. The super sleek, wheel hugging seat tube also helps to protect the leading edge of the rear wheel and in turn, this further enhances aerodynamic performance by greatly reducing rear wheel turbulence.
And remember, with a Redchilli, you can pretty much spec the bike to your own individual requirements and so your Chilli can be almost as unique as you are. And of course, you also get to choose your own colour or colours if you’re feeling really adventurous.
