As a professional cyclist, Amy Roberts has raced at the highest level. She first represented Great Britain at World and European Championships as a junior on the road and track. In her first season as a professional, Amy joined Wiggle Honda in what was their first year as a professional women’s race team during which time, Amy got to race against the best in the World – all over the World. Amy also represented Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow in 2014, which she says was one of her career highlights. Amy raced for Wiggle-Honda (later Wiggle-High5) for 5 years, before moving to a Dutch Team, Parkhotel Valkenburg in 2018. Unfortunately, illness interrupted Amy’s plans for 2019 and 2020, but now her ambition is to be back racing Internationally, and to represent Wales at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
