Servicing & Repairs
In order to get the most enjoyment from any bicycle, it is important that it is serviced on a regular basis. Not only will this help maintain efficient running and dramatically improve the life of the main transmission parts, but will also improve the safety of your bike.
Alongside our custom bike builds, we also offer a flexible approach to bicycle servicing and repairs and provide a dedicated range of options for the servicing of Road Race Bicycles. Some of our most common service options are given below, though we are happy to assist with any aspect of servicing/repair work.
Should any new parts be required, then we will always inform you of the full cost involved prior to completing any work. You can be assured of a fast, friendly and professional service/repair work, all carried out by a fully qualified bicycle mechanic. All work is in accordance to British Safety Standards BS6102.

- Brakes: Brake Calliper Removal, Clean, Inspection, Lube. Brake Pad Alignment, Ensure All Torque Settings are Correct, Cable Lubrication, Rotor Clean (where applicable), Final Brake Check.
- Gears: Rear Derailleur Removal, Degrease, Clean, Inspection, Lube. Jockey Wheel Clean, Inspection. Front Derailleur Removal, Degrease, Clean, Inspection, Lube. Final Gear System Check.
- Chainset: Removal, Degrease, Clean. Chainring Inspection, Removal, Degrease, Clean. Ensure all Torque Settings are Correct.
- Bottom Bracket: Removal, Inspection, Degrease, Clean, Lube. Inspection of Bottom Bracket Shell, Apply Fresh Lube, Ensure All Torque Settings are Correct.
- Cassette: Removal, Degrease, Clean, Inspection, Ensure Torque Settings are Correct.
- Chain: Removal, Degrease, Clean, Inspection. Refitted.
- Headset: Inspection, Degrease, Clean, Lube. Ensure Free-from-Play. Ensure Torque Settings are Correct.
- Forks: Complete removal of Existing Forks, Degrease, Clean, Lube, Refitted.
- Wheels: Alignment of Wheel Rim. Spoke Tension Measurement. Hubs Degreased, Cleaned, Lube.
- Tyres: Check Tyre Condition and Ensure Correct Tyre Pressure.
- Handlebars: Inspection, Ensure All Torque Settings are Correct.
- Pedals: Inspected and Lube where Appropriate.
- Frame: Frame Inspection for Wear, Cracks or Damage, Wash and Polish.
- Full PDI: Full Pre-Delivery Inspection to British Safety Standards BS6102 as if the Bike were Brand New and to ensure that all is running smoothly.
*Plus cost of new parts as required.

- Bottom Bracket: Removal, Inspection, Degrease, Clean, Lube. Inspection of Bottom Bracket Shell, Apply Fresh Lube, Ensure All Torque Settings are Correct.
- Cassette: Removal, Degrease, Clean, Inspection, Ensure Torque Settings are Correct.
- Chain: Removal, Degrease, Clean, Inspection. Refitted.
- Headset: Inspection, Degrease, Clean, Lube. Ensure Free-from-Play. Ensure Torque Settings are Correct.
- Forks: Complete removal of Existing Forks, Degrease, Clean, Lube, Refitted.

- Chainset: Chainset Removal, Chainring Inspection, Ensure all Torque Settings are Correct.
- Bottom Bracket: Inspection, Ensure All Torque Settings are Correct.
- Cassette: Visual Inspection, Ensure Torque Settings are Correct.
- Chain: Chain Wear Inspection.
- Headset: Check for Bearing Wear, Ensure Free-from-Play, Ensure Torque Settings are Correct.
- Forks: Visual Inspection.
- Wheels: Alignment of Wheel Rim, Hubs Adjusted if Required.
- Tyres: Check Tyre Condition and Ensure Correct Tyre Pressure.
- Handlebars: Inspection, Ensure All Torque Settings are Correct.
- Frame: Frame Inspection for Wear, Cracks or Damage.

- Cassette: Visual Inspection of Cassette Teeth, Torque Settings, Adjustment as Required.
- Chain: Visual Inspection of Chain, Measurement for Wear.
- Headset: Check Bearings for Vibration and Stiffness, Check for any Movement, Adjust as Required.
- Forks: Visual Inspection of Forks for any Damage, Wear or Cracks.
- Wheels: Check Wheel Rim for Lateral True, Radial True and Dishing.
- Tyres: Check Tyre Condition for any Cuts, Tears to Contact Surface and Sidewalls, Ensure Correct Tyre Pressure.
- Handlebars and Stem: Ensure all Torque Settings are Correct, Check Pinch Bolts for Wear.
- Pedals: Check Pedals for Wear, Bearing Movement.
- Frame: Frame Inspection for Wear, Cracks or Damage, Wash and Polish.
